The undergraduate business students from Wittenberg University, who have been studying Mandarin for years, took part in mandarin and business negotiation courses conducted by their professors in HKBU. IIBD arranged seminars during the their stay in Hong Kong, including seminar on “Childhood Obesity, Chinese Culture, and Advertising” conducted by Prof. Gerard Prendergast, Head & Professor of Department of Marketing. The seminar based on Prof. Prendergast’s research which is about how to use advertising to make Chinese kids eat a more healthy diet with comparison between his data and data from Denmark.
